About Raqeem
Raqeem is run by Ahmad Qataf, a developer and designer with more than 17 years of experience in programming, graphic design, motion graphics and electronics, working between Syria and Kuwait.
Experience
Ahmad started in graphic design and video, then moved into programming and worked at a company building ERP systems, where he learned how sales, inventory and invoicing systems are designed from the inside — the foundation of the Kaseb point-of-sale system. He also develops games in Unity, works in 3D with Blender, builds microcontroller projects, and runs a laser-cutting workshop used for electronics enclosures and decor pieces.
What we publish
We build and use Raqeem's products ourselves: the Miqat prayer-times website in three languages and the Kaseb POS system. On the blog (in Arabic) we explain what we learn: how prayer times are calculated, how to choose a POS system and how to start with Arduino.
